Botterfly AI's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How We Access & Use Google User Data

When you grant Botterfly AI permission to connect with your Google Account, we access only the specific Google APIs required to execute your real estate workflow commands:

Google Drive (`drive.file`): We create and manage property listing folders (e.g. "123 Main St - Disclosures") and upload property documents, photos, and disclosure files requested by the agent. We do not access unrelated files in your Google Drive.
Google Calendar (`calendar`): We create, update, and manage showing appointments, client meetings, open house events, and deadline reminders requested by the agent, sending calendar invites to attendees.
Gmail (`gmail.send`, `gmail.labels`): We send transaction update emails to clients on behalf of licensed agents and organize real estate email correspondence under property-specific labels.

Google Data Sharing & Non-Sale Commitment

We do not sell, rent, or trade your Google user data to any third party. Your Google account information, Drive files, Calendar events, and Gmail content are used strictly to provide the operational features you request within Botterfly AI. Google user data is never used for advertising or marketing and is never used to train generalized AI models.

Information We Collect

Account Data: Name, email address, phone number, brokerage, role, and timezone.
CRM & Operational Data: Real estate contact records, property intake data, transaction stages, notes, and task reminders.
Message Metadata: Command text and SMS operational metadata needed to execute requests and maintain support logs.

SMS Privacy & Mobile Information (Twilio 10DLC Compliance)

Program Name: Botterfly AI Operational SMS — conversational replies, showing updates, and transactional notifications tied to your account workflows.

By opting in through our registration form or onboarding profile, or by initiating a text message to our business phone number, you consent to receive operational SMS text messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies based on user activity and account events. Message and data rates may apply. Strict Mobile Privacy Non-Sharing Commitment:

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Data Storage, Security & Isolation

We use enterprise-grade encryption (TLS/HTTPS in transit and AES-256 at rest via Supabase Postgres) to safeguard your data. Account data is logically isolated per agent and team workspace.

Data Retention & Account Deletion

We retain personal and operational data only as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide services. You may request full account and data deletion at any time by contacting hello@botterflyai.com.
